  1. How can I purchase admission?
    Advance tickets may be purchased online or through the Box Office at (269) 927-1221. Tickets may also be purchased at the door.
  2. Where is the Mendel Center?
    The Lake Michigan College Mendel Center is located 30-minutes from Niles and 40-minutes from Kalamazoo and South Bend on the Lake Michigan College Napier Avenue Campus in Benton Township, Michigan, one mile east of I-94 (Exit 30) and one mile west of the US 31 Bypass (exit 24).
  3. How can I sponsor the event?

  4. Will there be food available?
    Yes, food will be available for purchase.
  5. Will non-alcoholic beverages be available?
    Yes, non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. For those not drinking, Designated Driver Tickets will be available for $10.
  6. What lodging options are available?
    Please visit Southwestern Michigan Tourist Council for lodging options.
  7. Where do I place my belongings at the Festival?
    A limited number of coat racks are available on a first come, first served basis.  No storage space is available.  We are not responsible for lost or stolen belongings.
  8. What if breweries run out of beer?
    Some breweries may run out of certain varieties.   If this happens, consider it an opportunity for a personal visit to the brewery after the festival to try their beer.
  9. Are children allowed at the event?
    No one under 21 years of age is allowed at the festival.
  10. When will sales end?
    Sales stop precisely one-half hour before the close of the event. No refunds are given on tickets purchased.
  11. Is there anything to do besides tasting beer?
    Tasting beer is the focus of the Art of Beer Festival, but there are many other educational activities as well. Great live music is offered during the festival. A souvenir booth sells Art of Beer merchandise (cash or credit accepted) and a handful of beer related vendors sell their wares.
  12. Is smoking allowed?
    The Mendel Center is a smoke free facility. Smoking will be permitted outside in designated areas.
  13. Will there be beers from outside Michigan?
    This year the Art of Beer Festival will showcase craft beers from across the country including many favorites from Michigan.
  14. When does pouring stop?
    Pouring will stop at 8:30pm. This will leave plenty of time for you to enjoy your last drink and talk to the breweries before you leave.
